Officers on patrol shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, stopped Brooklyn resident Christopher Alfred when he failed to maintain his lane of traffic and veered out of his lane.
During the traffic stop, officers determined that Alfred was in possession of a skimmer device, a forged Pennsylvania driver’s license, and two forged credit cards.
Alfred was arrested and transported to the Yorktown Police Department, where he was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of unlawful possession of a skimmer device. He was also cited for failing to keep to the right and for having an expired inspection, both violations.
Following his arraignment in Yorktown Justice Court, Alfred was released on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on June 4 to respond to the charges.
